Mr. Whent has served as Executive Vice President Content Engineering since July 2008.  Mr. Whent served as President of Wireless Ronin Technologies Canada (WRTC) from the acquisition of McGill Digital Solutions in August of 2007 until July 2008. Prior to WRTC Mr. Whent founded and served as President of McGill Digital Solutions, Inc. since it was started in December of 1987. Mr. Whent positioned the company as the leader in interactive communications using a variety of innovative delivery platforms. Mr. Whent began his career in computer technologies after graduating with honors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor in April 1983. He quickly rose to increasingly senior positions at Canadian companies, namely Union Gas and Chrysler Canada, by introducing a technology spin on marketing information and marrying market data with computer visuals and sound.
