MINNEAPOLIS – October 16, 2007 –Wireless Ronin Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: RNIN), a Minneapolis-based digital signage provider, announced today that the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) will install Wireless Ronin’s (www.wirelessronin.com) digital signage software, RoninCast®, for its digital signage program in the Price Center expansion.
The Wireless Ronin digital signage system was chosen to provide information including news feeds and campus updates as well as for its ability to easily integrate into the contemporary art collection. The UCSD Price Center provides services and locations for meetings, conferences, theater style presentations and special events. Real-time news feeds will add a dynamic information component to the overall campus environment.
“The RoninCast software provides outstanding technology that will greatly enhance the Stuart Collection and the experience for our students and faculty,” said Mathieu Gregoire, project director, The Stuart Collection. “It is important that we bring an innovative partner like Wireless Ronin to our campus.”
