Title:  C# Developer
Reports to: VP, Technology
Based at: Troy, Michigan

Wireless Ronin Technologies (www.wirelessronin.com) is the developer of RoninCast®, a complete software solution designed to address the evolving digital signage marketplace. As a result of our growth and to meet our client needs, WRT development team is currently seeking candidates for the c#/.Net Developer role in Troy MI.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Work within a team environment to create new and maintain existing applications.
• Interact with solution creation team to refine business and user requirements.
• Participate in all phases of development cycle including: detailed design, coding, unit test, debugging, deployment.
• Assist in physical and logical database design.
• Supports quality assurance testing and production installations.
• Provide advice to Technical Architects on proposals, estimates and the creation of detailed specifications required for technical design.
• Ensure that WRT’s standards and guidelines including coding standards and best practices are followed and maintained.
• Stay current and learning new technology as necessary.

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

• 5+ years of software development or relative IT experience.
• 2+ years of experience with .NET framework, C#, Visual Studio.
• Experience with Database design and development, SQL Server 2000/2005 preferred
• Experience with COM/COM+, Win32 API, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML/XSLT, SOAP, AJAX.
• Strong OOP/OOD background, knowledge in UML
• Experience with web technologies, servers, platforms and browsers.
• Strong problem solving skills and creativity.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Engineering
