Title:  Flash Developer
Reports to: VP, Technology
Based at: Canadian Office - Windsor, Ontario

Wireless Ronin Technologies (www.wirelessronin.com) is the developer of RoninCast®, a complete software solution designed to address the evolving digital signage marketplace. As a result of our growth and to meet our client needs, WRT development team is currently seeking candidates for the Flash Developer role in Troy MI.

Flash Developer with high-level of ActionScript skills, to build interactive dynamic applications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interact with solution creation team to refine business and user requirements.
• Participate in all phases of development cycle including: detailed design, coding, unit test, deployment.
• Supports quality assurance testing and production installations.
• Provide advice to Technical Architects on proposals, estimates and the creation of detailed specifications required for technical design.
• Ensure that WRT’s standards and guidelines including coding standards and best practices are followed and maintained.
• Stay current and learning new technology as necessary.

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of Flash development experience, building interactive and dynamic applications in ActionScript v2 (v3 is a bonus).
• Expertise with data exchange (XML, server communication, dynamic content).
• Design integration experience and GUI development skills, ability to use design software.
• Video development experience desirable.
• Creative technical problem solver.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• OOP/OOD background, Experience writing conceptual and detailed design documents, including UML diagrams.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
