Job Description:
Title:  Quality Assurance Specialist
Reports to: VP, Technology
Based at: Canadian Office - Windsor, Ontario

The Quality Assurance Architect executes and maintains WRT’s Quality Assurance process throughout the solution design phase of assigned projects.  This role requires a hands-on approach across multiple projects to ensure and validate that quality standards are met through test planning as well as process and documentation.

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

• 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience
• Progressive experience in the field of Quality Assurance
• Experience in testing both large and small-scale web sites and applications in Java and/or .NET environments
• Experience in maintaining Quality standards
• Experience in preparing Quality Assurance documentation and reporting
• Demonstrated knowledge and troubleshooting experience at both software and hardware levels
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and drivers
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment
• Ability to handle high pressure situations
• Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details
• Demonstrated desire to further own knowledge regarding Quality Assurance
• Automated testing tools experience an asset

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• University degree/college diploma in Business/Programming or in other related disciplines
