Title:  Web Developer
Reports to: VP, Technology
Based at: Troy, Michigan

Wireless Ronin Technologies (www.wirelessronin.com) is the developer of RoninCast®, a complete software solution designed to address the evolving digital signage marketplace. As a result of our growth and to meet our client needs, WRT development team is currently seeking candidates for the Web Developer role in Troy MI.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interact with solution creation team to refine business and user requirements.
• Participate in all phases of development cycle including: detailed design, coding, unit test, deployment
• Assist in physical and logical database design.
• Supports quality assurance testing and production installations.
• Provide advice to Technical Architects on proposals, estimates and the creation of detailed specifications required for technical design.
• Ensure that WRT’s standards and guidelines including coding standards and best practices are followed and maintained.
• Stay current and learning new technology as necessary

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of software development in .Net framework, ASP.Net and c#
• Experience with relational databases, SQL Server 2000/2005 preferred
• Experience with AJAX, Advanced JavaScript, DHTML, and CSS
• Experience with Web Services, XML, and XSLT
• Experience with web technologies, servers, platforms and browsers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• OOP/OOD background, Experience writing conceptual and detailed design documents, including UML diagrams

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
